The Wait is Over at Last!!!!

ANTICIPATION!! APPREHENSION!! FEAR!! HOPE!! RESIGNATION!!
The Seniors experience all these emotions as they waited on Thursday, June 10th to hear whether they had graduated or not! For some, the results would be confirmation of the hard work done over two years; for others, however, it was a movement of dread.
At 3 o'colck in the afternoon, Lecture Room One was packed with feelings, but no one had to say "All yuh hush!". the hush was on as Mr. Stoutt started to call the names of the graduands.
Students congratulated some of their peers with loud applause at each name, some favourites receiving overwhelming cheers. One by one, each reacted in his own way to the welcome news. One girl went into a hysterical frenzy. Boys, for once forgetting the slur "You like man?",freely hugged their colleges as their names were called. And those who had vowed to remain cool, lost it all.
Every window was blocked out by the bodies and inquisitive faces of students from the lower classes. The more enterprising carried the bench from under the trees to get a ring side view as the events unfolded.
There was a very emotional moment as the name Sherwin Fahie was called as a graduand.
The news of the validaledictorian and salutatorianwas greated with pleasure. "Our Val"is Karima Forbes and "our Sal", Magdalene Barzery.

Exams!!

Exams!!
For those students who have not been studying, exams can be a scary thought Now that exams are over, students think that they can breathe easy, but that is not true. If you have not done your best, this term will be no walk in the park'. So often students believe that the third term is supposed to be a picnic, but for the slackers, third term is the GOD-SENT' last hope. So where do you stand: "passing with flying colours"- "barely passing"or -"no hope of passing"!
Remember, it is never too late! So don't give up because it is third term. Take advantages of this third term and third chance.
Nothing beats a trial but a failure.
